Overview
The ActiveConnect™ GV8502A is a receiver that enables the thinnest and longest reach DisplayPort 1.1 cables.

The GV8502A Multimedia Receiver is DisplayPort 1.1 compliant.
It can also drastically reduce cable thickness for BOM savings and increased flexibility. The following shows cable thickness at 2.7Gb/s:
