Gennum's GN1055 is a fully integrated silicon germanium (SiGe) BiCMOS transimpedance amplifier, providing wideband, low noise pre-amplication of a current from a PIN photodiode or APD. It features differential outputs. A decoupling capacitor on the supply is the only external component required.
- Single +3.3 V power supply
- Power dissipation = 145 mW (typical)
- Transimpedance gain = 4 kΩ into 100Ω load (diff)
- Upper Bandwidth (-3dB) = 12GHz
- Operates at OC-192 / STM-64 up to 11.3 Gb/s NRZ rates
- RSSI (Receive Signal Strength Indicator)
- User adjustable Input Slicing Level.
- Can be used with APD
- Minimal external components; supply decoupling only
