New Representative Agreement Expands Gennum’s Reach into Southern US

BURLINGTON, ON – May 17, 2010 – Gennum Corporation (TSX: GND) announced today that it has signed a new representative agreement with ION Associates to promote, sell and support its complete portfolio of analog and mixed signal products.

ION Associates is a recognized, premier technical sales organization that has been delivering solutions to customers in the computing, communications, industrial and contract manufacturing markets for over 35 years.  Under this new agreement, ION Associates will provide technical sales and support for Gennum’s industry-leading analog and mixed signal IC solutions to customers in  Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.
