Gennum Elects Steven Bilodeau and Jeffrey McCreary to Board of Directors

New Directors Bring Additional Global Semiconductor Expertise to Gennum

BURLINGTON, Ontario – March 27, 2008 – Adding to the semiconductor expertise of its Board of Directors, Gennum Corporation (TSX: GND) announced the election of Steven Bilodeau and Jeffrey McCreary as directors. In addition, Gennum announced it has elected a new chairman of the board, Robert Weiss, replacing Patrick Thode who stepped down for health reasons. "As we move forward and execute against an aggressive strategy intended to significantly expand Gennum’s global market share, we require directors with focused expertise in the semiconductor industry. Steve and Jeff have each held leadership positions within large, fast-growing semiconductor companies, and will provide the strategic insights and guidance required to transition Gennum into a high-growth, global player in the semiconductor industry."
