Ken Martin
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Ken Martin, an IEEE Fellow, has over 30 years of IC design experience in high-speed analog and digital integrated circuits for data communication applications. As Gennum's Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Martin is tasked with driving the definition and implementation of best-in-class design technology and methodologies and growing Gennum's global design centers. Prior to Gennum, Dr. Martin founded Snowbush Microelectronics, a leading supplier of analog and mixed-signal intellectual property (IP) cores. Prior to founding Snowbush, he was the Stanley Ho Professor of Microelectronics at the University of Toronto. Previous to that, he was a tenured Full Professor at UCLA where he founded the Integrated Circuits and Systems Major Field and Laboratory.
Dr. Martin co-authored Analog Integrated Circuit Design, a textbook for graduate engineers that is now used at over 50 North American universities and numerous companies. He has also published Digital Integrated Circuit Design, co-authored three other books, as well as over 100 papers, and is an inventor or co-inventor on numerous patents.
