Robert S. Weiss, Chairman of the Board
Robert Weiss was appointed to the Board of Directors of Gennum Corporation in September 2003 and elected as Chairman of the Board in March 2008. He currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee, and is also a member of the Corporate Governance Committee.

Mr. Weiss retired in 2000 from Arthur Andersen Canada, a major public accounting firm. After joining Arthur Andersen in 1974, Mr. Weiss held positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as the Managing Partner for Ontario from 1995 to 2000. He has extensive experience in auditing, taxation and finance.

Mr. Weiss has long been involved in community and not-for-profit activities, and is currently a member of the Governing Council of the University of Toronto, as well as a member of its Business Board and Past Chair of its Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Board and Treasurer of the Council for Business and the Arts in Canada.

Mr. Weiss holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto and earned his Chartered Accountant designation in Ontario (gold medalist).
