H. Patrick Thode
Mr. Thode served as Chairman of the Board of Gennum Corporation from October 2001 to March 2008, and during the period June 1991 to April 2000. He currently serves as a member of the Audit Committee.

A founding investor of Gennum Corporation, Mr. Thode has served in a variety of advisory roles through all phases of the company's development, becoming a board member in 1982. Mr. Thode was founder of the Patheon Group and was CEO from 1974 to 1988. Prior to this he was in public accountancy practice with Ernst and Young in both Hamilton and Toronto. Over the past number of years, he has been actively involved as an owner/officer/director in numerous investments related to technology, mortgage financing and real estate development.

Mr. Thode has participated in a number of professional and community organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce in both Hamilton and in Fort Erie and the YMCA in Hamilton and Burlington. He also served as Chairman of the Fort Erie Industrial Commission.

Mr. Thode holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McMaster University and earned his Chartered Accountant designation in Ontario.
