How to apply | Gennum's selection process

How to apply
After reviewing our current employment opportunities, you may:
  • Apply directly to the specific position that interests you
  • Submit a general application

To apply for a position
  • You must provide an email address and create your own password
  • If you do not have a current email address you may create a Hotmail account directly online
  • A password is required should you wish to update your profile or are a returning visitor to our site

Upload / paste your current resume
  • Complete the Resume Form and confirm your email and password
  • If you are a referral from a current Gennum employee, please ensure you complete the referral information outlining the name and email address of the referring employee
  • If you are interested in receiving notification of future opportunities, please select the notification frequency, areas of interest, and geographic preference


You will receive acknowledgement of your online application via email.

Only candidates under consideration will be contacted for interviews.

Gennum's selection process
The objective of our selection process is to ensure we have a clear understanding of your competencies, skills, experience, knowledge and academic credentials to assist us in forming a clear decision regarding your candidacy for a specific position.

Interviews
Initial interviews may be conducted by telephone, video conference or in person.

Interviews are conducted in such a way as to provide for two-way dialogue and feedback. The interview will provide you with the opportunity to describe your competencies, skills, experience, knowledge and academic credentials in further detail. Likewise, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification about the position, expectations of the role and the culture at Gennum.

All interviews will be coordinated by Gennum. Should travel or accommodations be required, Gennum will make the necessary arrangements. Should you incur any incidental expenses during your visit you will be provided with the appropriate information to submit those receipts for reimbursement.

After initial screening, if we determine that we will move forward, a series of interviews will be scheduled with key people, including the hiring manager. If for some reason you are not able to attend your scheduled interviews, please contact the interview coordinator as early as possible to allow us to reschedule.

After the interview
Upon completion of in-person interviews a debrief session with all Gennum interviewers will be convened to determine next steps in the selection process.

You can expect to receive feedback within seven business days of your interview.

If we move forward with your candidacy, you will be asked to provide a list of references and, as appropriate, complete an authorization to permit us to conduct background checks.

Please be prepared to provide the following with respect to your references:
  • A list of 3 to 5 references who can comment on your skills, knowledge, experience and accomplishments.
For each reference please provide the name, address, phone number (day and evening), email address (if applicable) and their relationship to you. References may include but are not limited to:
  • Previous managers or supervisors
  • Peers / colleagues
  • Subordinates
  • Customers / clients
  • Academic professionals
Please note: Reference checks may be conducted by Gennum or its agent, Britton Management Systems.
